Imam sadIiq: IF I Percieve his time I will serve him in all of my life days
Do Allah (SWT) needs us to call him many times in order to accept our prayers? Question:

Do Allah (SWT) needs us to call him many times in order to accept our prayers?

Question:

Is not there a contradiction between the text “«ويکفيک قدر الملح في العجين»“

“Even if my Supplications are equal to the salt in the flour, that is, even if I call Allah (SWT)  for small number of times it will be sufficient for you to accept my prayers” and the text “«واذکروا الله کثيراً»” “Do call Allah (SWT) repeatedly”?

Answer:

This part of the supplication (Dua) «ويکفيک قدر الملح في العجين» and this ayah «واذکروا الله کثيراً» do not contradict each other, because;

firstly: The ayah is associated with the people that they should remember Allah (SWT) as much as they can on the other hand the Dua is associated with Allah (SWT) that if Allah (SWT) wants he can accept the Dua’s of those who performs it even though he had been called upon for a small number of times. In other words, calling repeatedly “ذکر کثیر” is related to the people, and acceptance of the Dua’s “«يکفيک قدر الملح في العجين»”is related to Allah (SWT).

Secondly: «واذكروا الله كثيرا» This is related to the people calling Allah (SWT) which is commonly known as the Dua. It means that the people should perform their obligatory task and avoid doing things, which are prohibited, and they should remember Allah (SWT) in every condition. However these extracts “«ويکفيک قدر الملح...»” are exclusive for Duas.

On this account, in the ayah, remembrance is a general term hence, the context of the Dua is different from what is of the ayah and thus they do not contradict each other.
