AMONG THE ATTRIBUTES OF THE INHABITANTS OF GNOSTIC

Due to the impact and the power of knowledge and science, the lights of knowledge and sciences in the heart, thinking and thought of the inhabitants of Gnostic would be attracted and concentrated towards Almighty Allah. In this respect even though they were living together with the people but they always see themselves to be in the presence of Almighty Allah.

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) in this respect said:

The Gnostic’s essence (body) is with the creatures and his heart is with Almighty Allah.[1]        

You can see and compare the difference between the Gnostic which the holy household of the Prophet (peace be upon them) are introducing with the woven Gnostic that attract the concentration of the people towards himself.

According to the school of thought of the holy household of the Prophet (peace be upon them) the inhabitant of Gnostic did not only concentrate to Almighty Allah with his entire existence rather Almighty Allah made their soul and psychology use to His cognizance.

It came in the scripture supplication of Imam Sajjad (peace be upon him) as follow:

And You made their souls (the travelers to the threshold of Almighty Allah) familiar to Your cognizance.[2]

Due to the impact of familiarity with sciences, their knowledge gradually increases and there will be continuation of this increase and as a result of that they will reach the exalted rank of knowledge and science. Definitely such inhabitants of Gnostic are known as (ALAWI) the elevated ones.

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said:

The believer is known as “ALAWI” the elevated ones because they are elevated in knowledge and science.[3]

At this time the luminous light of knowledge and science would take over his entire existence and his soul and psychology will be purified with luminous divine sciences likewise he will be swimming in the costly and valuable sea of sciences. In the sense that his valuable knowledge and science will always be increasing until he become treasure of divine mystery and knowledge will be kept as a valuable trust in his heart.

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said:

A knowledgeable person is a keeper of Almighty Allah’s trust and the treasure of His mysteries.[4]

Therefore how is it possible for those who have obtain the eminent rank of real Gnostic and have went through the real path of Gnostic to sell any mystery in a cheaper rate and to put all treasure at the reach of anyone who has not see any difficulty?!
