Question: Do we have any tradition stating that Karbala will become the Qibla at the time of the reappearance of Imam Zaman (ATFS)?

Answer: I have not seen any such tradition in the books of Shias, which states that at the time of reappearance of Imam Zaman (ATFS), Karbala will become the Qibla. Kaaba with all its spiritual values and importance, also have some materialistic magnetism and significance as well. The fondness towards Imam Husain (AS), which Allah has placed in the hearts of the faithful, is the reason why Karbala has a significant spiritual importance for the believer around the globe. This fact cannot be denied that spiritual attraction is stronger than the materialistic one. Although some people are there who are unaware of the spiritual and divine importance of Karbala. However, the supremacy of Karbala over Mecca is a truth that has been stated in many traditions.

There is no doubt in it that at the time of reappearance of Imam Zaman (ATFS) many reality and veracity will become clear and many mysteries will be revealed.
