SUPPLICATION FOR THE REAPPEARANCE OF IMAM MAHDI (A.S.) ON THE EIGHTEENTH DAY OF THE HOLY MONTH OF RAMADAN

The honourable Sayyid, Ali bin Taoos narrates the following supplication for the eighteenth day of the holy month of Ramadan:

  أَللَّهُمَّ إِنَّ الظَّلَمَةَ كَفَرُوا بِكِتابِكَ ، وَجَحَدُوا آياتِكَ ، وَكَذَّبُوا رُسُلَكَ ، وَبَدَّلُوا ما جاءَ بِهِ رَسُولُكَ ، وَشَرَعُوا غَيْرَ دينِكَ ، وَسَعَوْا بِالْفَسادِ في أَرْضِكَ ، وَتَعاوَنُوا عَلى إِطْفاءِ نُورِكَ ، وَشاقُّوا وُلاةَ أَمْرِكَ ، وَوالَوْا أَعْداءَكَ ، وَعادَوْا أَوْلِياءَكَ ، وَظَلَمُوا أَهْلَ بَيْتِ نَبِيِّكَ .

  أَللَّهُمَّ فَانْتَقِمْ مِنْهُمْ ، وَاصْبُبْ عَلَيْهِمْ عَذابَكَ ، وَاسْتَأْصِلْ شَأْفَتَهُمْ . أَللَّهُمَّ إِنَّهُمُ اتَّخَذُوا دينَكَ دَغَلاً ، وَمالَكَ دُوَلاً ، وَعِبادَكَ خَوَلاً ، فَاكْفُفْ بَأْسَهُمْ ، وَأَوْهِنْ كَيْدَهُمْ ، وَاشْفِ مِنْهُمْ صُدُورَ الْمُؤْمِنينَ ، وَخالِفْ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِهِمْ ، وَشَتِّتْ أَمْرَهُمْ ، وَاجْعَلْ بَأْسَهُمْ بَيْنَهُمْ ، وَاسْفِكْ بِأَيْدِي الْمُؤْمِنينَ دِمائَهُمْ ، وَخُذْهُمْ مِنْ حَيْثُ لايَشْعُرُونَ .

  أَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ . أَللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَشْهَدُ يَوْمَ الْقِيامَةِ ، وَيَوْمَ حُلُولِ الطَّامَّةِ ، أَنَّهُمْ لَمْ يُذْنِبُوا لَكَ ذَنْباً ، وَلَمْ يَرْتَكِبُوا لَكَ مَعْصِيَةً ، وَلَمْ يُضَيِّعُوا لَكَ طاعَةً ، وَأَنَّ مَوْلانا وَسَيِّدَنا صاحِبَ الزَّمانِ ، اَلْهادِي الْمُهْتَدي ، اَلتَّقِيُّ النَّقِيُّ الزَّكِيُّ الرَّضِيُّ .

  فَاسْلُكْ بِنا عَلى يَدَيْهِ مِنْهاجَ الْهُدى ، وَالْمَحَجَّةَ الْعُظْمى ، وَقَوِّنا عَلى مُتابَعَتِهِ ، وَأَداءِ حَقَّهِ ، وَاحْشُرْنا في أَعْوانِهِ وَأَنْصارِهِ ، إِنَّكَ سَميعُ الدُّعاءِ .

            O’ Allah, the transgressors have disbelieved in Your book, and denied You proofs, and falsified Your Prophets, and altered that which was brought by Your Messengers, and accepted another religion, and strived to establish corruption on earth, and aided each other to put off Your Light, and envied the Guardians of Your issues, and befriended Your enemies, and envied Your friends, and oppressed the household of Your Prophet. O’ Allah, take revenge from them, and send down Your torment upon them, and uproot their foundation. O’ Allah, they took Your religion as a source of deceit and schemes, and occupied Your wealth with dominance, and made Your slaves their own, thus protect Your slaves from their evil, and weaken their schemes, and cure the chest of the believers amongst them, and create differences between them, and disorient their issues, and place their evil between them, and shed their blood by the hands of the believers, and punish them such that they don’t understand the source of their entanglement. O’ Allah, bless Mohammad and his holy Progeny. O’ Allah, we will bear witness on the day of Resurrection, on the day of great calamity, that they never committed any sin, and never disobeyed You, and never ignored Your obedience, and that our Master is the Master of time, the guide and the guided, the pious, the pure, the good and the favourite. Thus help us walk through the path of guidance and the evident path through him, and give us the ability to follow him, and to pay his rights, and resurrect us among his supporters and helpers, indeed You are the Hearer of supplication.[1]
