Another magnificent miracle of Imam Hadi (p.b.u.h.).

Hasan bin Mohammad bin Ali says, “On one day, a man came crying to Imam Hadi (p.b.u.h.), his body was shivering due to fear, said to Imam (p.b.u.h.), “O the Prophet’s son! The king has accused and arrested my son for being your follower. He handed over my son to one of his officer so that he can take my son on top of so and so mountain and push him from their and bury him there only.”

Imam Hadi (p.b.u.h.) said, “What do you want?”

He said, “Master! Whatever a merciful father will want for his son.”

Imam said, “إذهب ، فإنّ إبنك يأتيك غداً إذا أمسيت ويخبرك بالعجب من إفتراقه ..

Go, tomorrow evening your son will come and will inform you about the surprising news of his segregation.”

That man rejoiced and took his leave from Imam. Tomorrow in the last portion of that day his son came, while he was in his best condition and in his most wonderful state, he was delighted to see his son and said, “Son! Tell me what happed?”

His son replied, “O father! That officer took me to the bottom of that mountain and we were there since last night, he was ordered that we should spend the night there only and in the morning, he should take me to the top of the mountain and throw me into the grave dug at the bottom of that mountain from there. They have placed few of their men to keep watch on me and I started crying. Suddenly, a group of ten people with beautiful faces came; their had worn attractive attire, which were pure and clean; they had used perfumes, which I had never sensed. I could see them but the guards were not able to see them, they looked at me and asked, “Why are you crying? For what are these cries, impatience (and useless talks and request)?

I replied, “Don’t you see the height of this mountain and the grave? Don’t you see that this tyrant officer want to throw me from this mountain into that grave and bury me?”

They said, “why not (we can see it)! If we throw that officer, who want to throw you from this mountaintop, in place of you, will you become the servant of the Prophet’s (May Allah send peace on him and his progeny) holy shrine?”

I replied, “I swear to God, Yes! Then they went towards the guard and dragged him towards the mountaintop, he was shouting for help. However, the officers could not hear him out and neither they were attentive towards him. They took him to the mountaintop and threw him from there; he reached the bottom of the mountain when his body was divided into small pieces. At that moment his colleagues became attentive and ran towards him, they started groaning and crying and finally they released me.

I stood up, and those ten people freed me and brought me here right now, at this moment they are standing outside and waiting for me, so that they can take me to the grave of the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h.) so that I can start service at the Prophet’s holy shrine”

(His father gave him the permission and he went towards the holy shrine).

His father stood up and came to Imam Hadi (p.b.u.h.) and explained the incidence to him, after a moment or two, a news came that a group of people took that guard and threw him from the mountaintop and his colleagues buried him in that grave and that young man whom they wanted to bury in that grave fled away.

At that moment Imam Hadi (p.b.u.h.) smiled and said to that person,

“إنّهم لايعلمون ما نعلم”

Whatever we know, they do not know. (2)”
