Was the World War predicted in the narrations of Ahle Bait (A.S.)?

Today, an extensive disorder has prevailed worldwide and which has resulted in the possibility of a blazing World War and the destruction of millions of people. Is there a prediction of such a World War in the traditions?

We can find numerous predictions in the statements of Ahle Bait (A.S.) about the possibility of such a World War and the destruction of a large percentage of mankind. The destruction of one third or two third or nine tenth of mankind has been predicted in these narrations.

It is evident that such narrations are in reference with such a World War which is going to take place before the Arrival of Imam Mahdi (A.S.) and not in the beginning of his reigning period.

It is obligatory on all the citizens of the world to refrain from such situations of tyranny, oppression, violence and bloodshed and to stay away from entering into such a World War. Unfortunately, the governments which should take the responsibility of directing and guiding the thoughts of the people, and the people who should strive to free themselves from such enslavements, are ignorant to such matters and are stepping towards a World War willingly or unwillingly.

The holy Prophet (S.A.W.S.), Ameer ul Momineen (A.S.) and all the other infallibles have always tried to warn the people of the future events, but unfortunately, a group of people have been ignorant to such warnings and predictions and as a result, numerous people have suffered grave damages and have fallen in the hands of misguiding and misleading elements by now.

Mankind can protect itself from facing such a World War by means of repentance to the Almighty and by associating themselves with Ahle Bait (A.S.).
